A Little Advice

ets face it, your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. My husband and I got married more than 25 year ago. We were very young and didn't plan things out extremely well. A friend of ours who was a professional photographer was supposed to take our pictures but he had to move that weekend and didn't show up. Of course it would have been nice if he had let us know he wasn't coming! Hence I see why it is important to really plan your wedding and not depend on friends or family to do things, like the photography, unless you have very good communication and are positive they will show up and do the job. Unless you don't mind having snapshots of your wedding, which by the way, did not affect our marriage in the long run. So my point is, if you want professional photos of your wedding, hire a professional! If that isn't so important to you then have every family member with a digital camera bring it and take as many pictures as they can. At least then you'll have a couple thousand of pictures to choose from, your bound to get a couple hundred okay ones (maybe).

hen I shoot a wedding, I strive to get the shots you want in an artistic and flattering manner. I work with my daughter, Rachel, who takes beautiful informal shots. If, after exploring my work, you want to hire me to photograph your wedding, I would strongly recommend that we schedule your engagement session. This will give us the opportunity to meet and talk about what your likes and dislikes are. Remember, it's your wedding, you should get the pictures you want...but if your parents are paying for it, you might want to ask them what they want pictures of too.
